We always recommend downloading official runtime packages from Microsoft or the original software vendor as the primary solution.
Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice

Where to Send DMCA Notices
Counter-Notification
If you believe your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification. The counter-notification must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature
- Identification of the material that was removed and its previous location
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification
- Your name, address, telephone number, and email address
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notice
Repeat Infringers
In accordance with the DMCA, we will terminate, in appropriate circumstances, users or account holders who are deemed to be repeat infringers.
Response Time
We aim to respond to valid DMCA notices within 48-72 hours. Upon receiving a valid notice, we will:
- Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material
- Notify the content provider (if applicable)
- Provide information about counter-notification procedures
